Hi! My name is Luke, and I am a tutor of English, French & Music. I'm an fourth year MA student at the University of Glasgow, and speak fluent French having prior experience of living, working and studying in both Québec and France. I’m a third-year medical student at UCL with a passion for teaching and helping others excel in their studies. Hi! I am Daniel - a medical student studying at Imperial College London. I have been tutoring for over 4 years now at 2 different centres and really developed a passion for this career. From the past, students have described my lessons as engaging, visual with images and exam question heavy. From my experience at GCSE receiving 11 grade 9s and A*’s at A level, I have applied my personal revision techniques into my teaching as one thing I have witnessed is top grades is not only about learning the content but actually more about exam technique. And as your tutor I will helping your child master BOTH of these with some tricks I used in exams to get the highest mark on Biology in my school for A level. In terms of how my lessons are structured, it would be very dynamic based on the students needs where I would message them for their specification point they want covered in the lesson the day before, allowing me to prepare images and questions I will use in the lesson. I would also set homework and these would be aligned exactly with their specification which would make sure they have mastered that topic. Hi! My name is Muneeb. My approach to teaching is centred around you, every student is different and as a result has different needs and teaching styles that they respond to. I aim to work with students to understand how best to achieve success. My maths and physics background gives me a logical mindset with which I approach teaching, I can systematically work through the gaps in a student’s knowledge and identify the underlying issue hindering them from achieving their full potential and then provide the necessary support to help them thrive. I’m a Masters student at the University of Sussex where I am studying Quantum Technology & management and currently averaging at a high 1st. This follows my undergraduate in physics from University College London (UCL) and my A levels in Maths, Chemistry & Physics in which I achieved A grades. I have informal experience working with children with autism, so I understand the extra level of care that’s required to engage neurodiverse children, particularly with regards to understanding the child’s needs as well as their comfort levels and routines.
