I’m a third-year medical student at UCL with a passion for teaching and helping others excel in their studies. I achieved 2 A*s in Biology and Chemistry and 2 As in Physics and Maths at A-level, giving me a strong foundation in the sciences and mathematics. I understand the challenges of balancing coursework and personal life, and I’m dedicated to creating a supportive and encouraging learning environment. My tutoring approach is built on three key pillars: • Teaching Content: I focus on breaking down complex concepts into manageable, easy-to-understand pieces. I tailor my explanations to suit each student’s learning style, ensuring they develop a solid grasp of the subject matter. • Learning Exam Technique: Understanding content is only half the challenge — I help students master exam technique by practicing past papers, analyzing mark schemes, and learning how to structure their answers to maximize marks. • Creating Synoptic Links: I encourage students to make connections between different topics to deepen their understanding and get a more overall view of the subject. This not only strengthens knowledge retention but also boosts confidence in tackling more challenging, integrated questions. In addition to academic tutoring, I’m very familiar with the entire medical school application process. I can support students with UCAT preparation, interview practice (including MMI and panel interviews), and personal statement guidance. I also offer advice on applying strategically to different medical schools, as well as tips on finding and reflecting on work experience to strengthen applications. I’m committed to helping students achieve their academic and career goals, whether that means boosting their subject knowledge, refining their exam technique, or securing a place in medical school.

Hi! I am Daniel - a medical student studying at Imperial College London. I have been tutoring for over 4 years now at 2 different centres and really developed a passion for this career. From the past, students have described my lessons as engaging, visual with images and exam question heavy. From my experience at GCSE receiving 11 grade 9s and A*’s at A level, I have applied my personal revision techniques into my teaching as one thing I have witnessed is top grades is not only about learning the content but actually more about exam technique. And as your tutor I will helping your child master BOTH of these with some tricks I used in exams to get the highest mark on Biology in my school for A level. In terms of how my lessons are structured, it would be very dynamic based on the students needs where I would message them for their specification point they want covered in the lesson the day before, allowing me to prepare images and questions I will use in the lesson. I would also set homework and these would be aligned exactly with their specification which would make sure they have mastered that topic. Furthermore to this, I am happy with mentoring students that are applying to medicine having been through the rigorous process myself and giving my tips and tricks for admissions exams (BMAT and UCAT) as well as interviews, having received offers from Imperial, UCL and Cambridge Summer pool. If you have any questions and want to know more about my lessons or myself, please feel free to message me and I will work with your student to fulfill the maximum they can achieve.

Hi! My name is Muneeb. My approach to teaching is centred around you, every student is different and as a result has different needs and teaching styles that they respond to. I aim to work with students to understand how best to achieve success. My maths and physics background gives me a logical mindset with which I approach teaching, I can systematically work through the gaps in a student’s knowledge and identify the underlying issue hindering them from achieving their full potential and then provide the necessary support to help them thrive. I’m a Masters student at the University of Sussex where I am studying Quantum Technology & management and currently averaging at a high 1st. This follows my undergraduate in physics from University College London (UCL) and my A levels in Maths, Chemistry & Physics in which I achieved A grades. I have informal experience working with children with autism, so I understand the extra level of care that’s required to engage neurodiverse children, particularly with regards to understanding the child’s needs as well as their comfort levels and routines. I can provide GCSE & A level tutoring in Maths, further Maths, Physics, Biology & Chemistry. These are subjects that I studied myself and achieved highly in. As a student who initially struggled with the transition from GCSE to A level I can appreciate the difficulty students may be facing and can provide advice & guidance to help optimise studying techniques and build confidence in order to achieve good A level grades. I can provide mentoring for university applications and personal statements, especially for students interested in STEM subjects, but not limited to that. I have mentored more than 10 students in both formal and informal settings. Last year one of my mentees received an offer from Oxford. I think it’s important to ensure a student’s application showcases their individuality whilst also fulfilling the essential requirements that admissions tutors are looking for.
