Find Your Perfect Chemistry Tutor In Cambridge

Hello, I’m Sreyashi! I’m a Biology and Chemistry tutor with top grades (97% in A-level Biology, 94% in A-level Chemistry), a BSc in Biomedical Science from UCL, and an MSc in Infectious Diseases from LSHTM. But here’s the thing—grades aren’t everything. They matter (a lot), but getting an A+ is about confidence, time management, and discipline, not just memorising textbooks. That’s where I come in. I’ve been teaching for over 5 years. I’ve worked with students of all abilities, from high-achievers chasing top marks to teens who’ve lost motivation during exam season. I especially love supporting neurodivergent learners (I’m ADHD myself), because I know how much difference the right approach makes. One of my proudest teaching moments? Explaining a complex disease like tuberculosis to a 12-year-old in a way that finally clicked. To me, science isn’t just facts—it’s the universe’s longest story, and with every discovery, we get to turn the page and add a new chapter. With a background in music and yoga, I bring creativity, patience, and adaptability to every lesson. My approach is student-first, always tailored to how you learn best. Oh, and while I might be new to this platform, I’m definitely not new to teaching. If you’re aiming for A-Level success—or just want to finally “get” biology or Chemistry—I’ve got you.

I am in my second year studying Maths and Philohophy at the University of Warwick. I have been tutoring since 2022 in a range of subjects, originally helping struggling students in my secondary school with English Language and Literature and later supporting A level and other higher level students in maths, sciences and other academic support. I enjoy working with children and helping them to learn to love their subjects the same way I do! I have achieved a 45 in IB and am comfortable using my academic experience to work out the best route to success for my students. Feel free to reach out to find out more!

I am an experienced tutor with over two years of professional tutoring experience in a secondary school, alongside more than a year of private one-to-one tutoring at GCSE and A-Level standards. I am passionate about helping students deepen their understanding and achieve their academic goals. I offer tuition in A-Level Mathematics and Further Mathematics. At GCSE level, I teach English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Combined and Triple Sciences, Religious Education, Geography, and Spanish. My lessons are tailored to each student's individual needs, whether they are aiming to improve their grades, strengthen their understanding of challenging topics, or prepare for exams. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and developing their confidence. By breaking down complex concepts into clear, tangible steps and using exam-focused techniques, I help students make consistent progress and reach their full potential.

I’m a friendly, enthusiastic and adaptable gap-year student with a passion for helping others learn and reach their full potential. I teach a range of subjects up to GCSE level, tailoring my approach to suit each student’s individual needs, learning style and goals. My own academic journey hasn’t always been easy. I’ve experienced the frustration of struggling with subjects and feeling like something just wasn’t clicking. However, I was able to overcome these challenges through persistence, finding different ways of understanding difficult topics, and developing study techniques that worked for me. This experience has given me a genuine understanding of how difficult learning can sometimes feel, and I bring that patience and empathy into my teaching. I also have experience helping friends with their studies, including friends with ADHD. This has taught me the importance of being flexible and finding different ways to explain concepts, rather than expecting every student to learn in exactly the same way. I aim to create a relaxed and supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and taking their time to understand a topic. Whether a student is looking to build confidence, prepare for GCSE exams, or simply get to grips with a challenging subject, my goal is to make learning feel more manageable and engaging. Most importantly, I want students to leave lessons feeling not only more knowledgeable, but also more confident in their own ability to succeed.
