Hi! I’m a second-year Geography student at the University of Birmingham with a genuine passion for helping students unlock their full potential. Although I was initially predicted CCD at A-level, I achieved AAB on results day, something I’m incredibly proud of. This experience has shaped the way I tutor. I understand what it feels like to doubt your ability, and more importantly, I know exactly how to turn things around. My goal is to help my students achieve the same transformation or even better! I have over a year of tutoring experience, and I truly find it one of the most rewarding things I do. Seeing students grow in confidence and improve their grades is why I love tutoring. Hello, and welcome to my profile! My name is Trisha and I’m a first year medical student at Imperial College London. I completed 11 GCSEs and achieved 8s and 9s, as well as 3 A-levels where I achieved A*A*A. I have tutoring experience with kids from ages 7-16 including those in their 11+ and GCSE years. I enjoy tutoring a lot as it gives me the opportunity to help others learn, grow and gain confidence, and I hope to be able teach future med students during my career to pass on my skills and knowledge whilst being a practicing doctor. I am a first-year Medical Student at the University of Exeter with a strong academic background in the sciences. I studied Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Further Mathematics at A-level, alongside completing an EPQ, achieving As and A*s across these subjects. During sixth form, I was actively involved in school life. I led the Medical Society, supporting students interested in pursuing medicine, and was also a member of the Student Union, where I developed strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills. Since starting university, studying medicine has further developed my ability to explain complex concepts clearly, think critically, and work effectively with others. Hi everyone! My name is Jade Phiri. I am currently studying Biomedical Sciences at the University of Manchester. Teaching is my passion, and I love nothing more than helping students develop their skills and achieve their academic goals. I’m a tutor who believes in the power of kindness in education. I’ve seen how a compassionate approach can make a real difference in a student’s confidence and success. As I went through my education, I didn’t always understand ways certain teachers taught, yet I was always shy to ask for help when everyone else understood. From these moments, having a tutor myself, and being open to ask them to explain once more, was a major milestone in my understanding of content. Hi there! I’m Mahima, a Biochemistry student at King’s College London with a passion for helping students reach their full academic potential. I specialise in Science and Geography tutoring, having an outstanding track record in my exams and fully mastering the technique to answer exam questions to achieve maximum marks. Hello! My name is Lucy, a final year French and Arabic student at the University of Oxford. My passion is learning about foreign languages and cultures; however, I have experience with a range of subject areas. I took Mathematics, Further Mathematics, French and Geography at A level, achieving an A* in all subjects, as well as attainting an A* in my EPQ analysing Islam in modern French and Algerian literature. Hi, I am Andrew, an LSE student reading history. I am a strong believer that anyone who has the right guidance and a way into a topic or subject can achieve the very best grades. Similarly, with universities I believe that my experience of getting an offer at London’s best university (8 applications per place), according to the Complete University Guide and The Times, shows the strength of my approach. As a fully qualified Tennis Coach I have considerable experience in coaching people and in communicating effectively with people, all of whom learn in different ways. Coaching tennis has taught me important time management skills, when balancing that with academic work. I achieved 10 A* at GCSE (5 at Grade 8; 5 at Grade 9) and achieved 2 A* in History and in Economics and an A in Politics at A Level. I am particularly keen to help A Level Economics student who may struggle with the longer essay response questions, especially if they come from a STEM background where essays are not the norm for assessment. I am also interested in helping A Level History and Politics students. Likewise, I feel that I have much to offer GCSE students in Geography and History where I achieved two grade 9s. Moreover, I am also happy to help with university applications and to offer guidance over which course is best suited. I am happy to adapt to whichever learning style suits you best. My experience with coaching and over a year tutoring has helped me to become very adaptable.

I’m Luke, I am a Natural sciences student at Cambridge. Studied Maths Chemistry Biology and geography at A level. This summer I am a Teaching intern at SMC/vantage. I have taught whole lessons in the sciences and geography from ks3 to a level. A massive fan of conservation and nature, formula one and football. Sadly I am a spurs fan so the less said about football the better. I’m a member of the rspb so I do enjoy bird watching and every summer for the past 2 years I’ve volunteered to teach ecology and data analysis to year 12 students in Morecambe‘s salt marshes over a whole week. The best bit about teaching for me is the moment it clicks, specifically when a student doesn't understand a concept, reframing my approach and it eventually working is as good as it gets.
