Hi, I’m Skye — an English and Film student at the University of Bristol currently working at a high 2:1 average. I have been teaching on the Edumentors platform for a year now. I worked incredibly hard to achieve AAB at A-Level, which helped me realise my dream of studying at a prestigious Russell Group university. I earned top grades in English and History, and achieved a strong academic foundation with GCSEs at grades 7–9. I’m passionate about sharing both my love for English and History and my experience of getting into university. Hi! My name is Ihab and I am a LSE student studying History and Politics and currently averaging a high 2.1. I have studied a range of History topics from the Ottoman Empire, the Tudors and the Qing Empire which I enjoy. My approach to tutoring is like a conversation in which I prefer to question and prompt my student so they can grow their knowledge within my lessons. This would be through teaching them concepts and information then applying them to past paper questions, as well as my own that I have created. I'm passionate about education and first discovered my love for teaching when I began tutoring Year 11 students for their IGCSE English exams in Sixth Form.
