Hi! I’m Maahi, a university student studying Biomedical Sciences who would love to share my knowledge with others by tutoring. Having achieved 13 grade 9s at GCSE and 3A*s at A-Level, I want to equip other students with the knowledge they need via engaging and useful lessons so that they can achieve the highest grades in their exams. I hold a upperclass 2:1 BA Honors degree in English Language and Spanish. During my third year, I successfully completed the ERASMUS+ program at the university of Granada, Spain. Through immersing myself in the language and culture, I can confidently say that I have a strong command of the Spanish language. The following year, I embarked on an Masters degree in Translation Studies. I completed an internship in Barcelona that really sparked my interest to seek job opportunities that involved writing, editing and translation. I soon landed a job in bid writing for a Spanish Engineering company where I was able to put my skills to the test. My most recent teaching experience at an EF language centre in Indonesia, homed in on making the classroom a fun and exciting environment. Students from as young as 3 had evening classes, therefore incorporating interactive games and eliciting grammatical points were essential to keep students stimulated. In 2021, I worked as a Primary school Teacher at a British School in Madagascar. This experience was both extremely challenging and rewarding as the majority of my students spoke 3+ languages, English usually being the least spoken. Lesson planning very quickly became second nature and easy to differentiate class materials to the varied abilities within the year 5 class. In my spare time, I enjoy cycling, travelling and meeting up with my friends.

I am currently in my final year studying a degree in Law at King’s College London and just spent a year studying Spanish Law and Catalan at Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona.
