Hi! My name is Lukas, I am 23 years old and have recently graduated from a master's in Renaissance literature at St. Hilda's College, Oxford University, previously studying at St. Catherine's in Oxford for my undergraduate English Literature degree. I have achieved a high merit in my MA and a high 2.1 in my undergraduate degree. I began tutoring to supplement my income during my studies. I am very passionate about teaching literature, having worked both online and in-person with my students, and I hope to complete a PHD in the coming years to allow me to teach literature as a career. I spent the year after graduation working as a learning support assistant in a school, which has broadened my teaching abilities to suit a variety of educational needs outside of one-to-one tutoring. I am also passionate about mentoring students for application to university, especially Oxford and Cambridge, in order to encourage under-represented students from similar backgrounds to my own. Hello! I'm Ruby, and I'm thrilled to offer tutoring in History and German through this platform. I recently completed my degree in History and German at St John's College, Oxford, in which I received a First Class. With a strong academic foundation and hands-on experience tutoring since 2019, my goal is not only to improve academic skills and help students achieve their aims in exams, but also to cultivate a genuine interest in learning.
