I graduated with a First from Oxford last year for my undergraduate History BA. I am really passionate about teaching and this year I have engaged in a variety of teaching roles, including volunteering as an English teacher for 3 months in Nepal. I have tutored History and Geography A level, alongside English Lit and Language GCSE for over 3 years. My tutoring style primarily revolves around teaching technique based essay writing improvements, and my students are able to massively boost their academic performance by focusing on these core skills. I am a 1st year University of Cambridge Modern & Medieval Languages (French & German) Undergraduate student with a keen interest in literature (both foreign and English) and economics (mainly financial markets). Hello! My name is Gavindu and I'm currently doing an Integrated Masters in Computer Science at the University of York. I have been tutoring for 2.5 years in Maths and Computer Science, as well as being a programming tutor for CodeNinjas. I have completed formal training in tutoring and have a lot of experience tutoring children with special needs. My teaching style consists more of building the child's interest in the subject, rather than teaching the content for the sake of it, since interest is what helps understanding and inspires further learning.
