Edumentors is a one-to-one tutoring platform for children aged 4 to 19. We help parents find perfect tutors for their children.

How do I become an online tutor with Edumentors?

Working with us is simple! Click on “Become a Tutor”, fill in your details, and we will contact you for a brief 15-minute online interview. After the interview, we guide you through the process to become a verified Edumentors tutor.

Do I need to have prior tutoring experience?

It is great if you have any kind of tutoring experience but if you do not you needn't worry about it. If you have a strong interest in becoming a tutor and are enthusiastic about it, you are more than welcome! We will indicate on the platform that you are just starting and will help you grow into an experienced tutor together with us

How is the tutoring fee determined?

Tutors set their own prices based on their experience and expertise. We recommend starting from a low price and increasing it in 3-4 months after you've completed a lot of sessions on the platform. System adds a commission based on how many sessions parents book: 35% if parents book 5-10 sessions going down to 15% if parents book 61+ sessions. This helps us give discounts to parents without affecting the tutor fees.

When and how do I get paid?

Payout is always made directly to your linked bank account via Stripe, a secure online payments platform. We release payments to you twice a month, on the 3rd day and 18th day of each month. We will pay only for the completed sessions. Payment on the 18th day of each month will include sessions held from 1 - 15th, and payment on the 3rd day of each month will include sessions held from 16th to the last day of the previous month.
