Hi, my name is Jago! I'm currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security at the University of Warwick. My teaching approach is highly adaptable—I appreciate that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to meet each individual's needs and focus on their areas of weakness to help build confidence and achieve lasting improvement. I offer tutoring in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science up to GCSE level—subjects in which I achieved top grades, securing grade 9s at GCSE and A grades at A level. I've been informally tutoring for around three years and have developed a solid foundation of tutoring experience. During that time, I’ve helped students make meaningful progress toward their goals. Most notably, I helped two students improve their GCSE Maths grades from predicted 7s to 9s and supported another in earning an academic scholarship to his school of choice. These achievements reflect the value of targeted, student-focused learning. My background in these subjects allows me to break down complex ideas in a logical and accessible way, helping students develop both understanding and confidence. I understand the academic pressures students face and aim to create a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Whether it's reinforcing foundational concepts or preparing for exams, I'm committed to helping students reach their potential and achieve the results they’re aiming for.

Need a Maths Tutor to Help Your Child Succeed?

Are Maths topics starting to feel more difficult as lessons become more advanced? Many students understand methods in class but struggle to apply them confidently in exams. Parents often look for extra support when progress slows or confidence begins to drop.

It can then feel unclear what kind of help will make a real difference. Should you choose a local option or explore online support for more flexibility? One to one lessons can help build strong foundations and improve exam technique over time. Some students work with a GCSE Maths tutor or progress to an A-Level Maths tutor as their needs develop.

This section answers common questions about Maths tutors, including how to get started and what to expect.
