My mission is to make Modern Languages and Maths fun and I want to help you achieve your goals. I offer Spanish, French and Polish from beginner to A Level standard, English as a Foregin Language, and early years to KS3 Mathematics. I tailor each lesson to the individual student, and I can provide homework as requested. I have experience teaching a variety of students and levels, as well as teaching students with learning difficulties. I love to travel and have lived and studied in several different countries, and I am super passionate about teaching foreign languages and educating people on other countries and cultures. I have gained immersive experience in all languages I teach, having lived, studied, and worked in the Caribbean (French), Barcelona (Spanish), Poland (Polish), and across the UK, Australia, and the USA (English as a foreign language). I have an undergraduate degree in Modern Language Studies, and I have tutored Modern Languages and Maths for over two years. My main languages studied at degree level were Spanish and French, and I did elective modules in Russian and Serbian. I am a native speaker of Polish and English. I completed a teaching module as part of my undergraduate degree including an in person teaching placement. I have A Levels in Spanish, French and Maths, and GCSE’s in Maths, Further Maths, English Literature, English Language, History, French, Spanish, Polish, Music, Religious Studies, Double Science Award and an IT qualification. I use a combination of PowerPoints, short exercises, proving examples, videos, audio files and interactive applications. I provide materials to use and reference outside of class, and can provide homework which will be marked before the next class to go over together. I am available to contact at anytime with questions in between classes. I can provide references and reviews, and I can assure that I always go above and beyond to help you succeed.

I am a final-year undergraduate Philosophy and Literature student at the University of Warwick, where I have worked at a first-class standard in my previous years. I previously studied at Reading School, attaining A grades in English Literature, History, and Philosophy at A-Level. I am also a National Ethics Cup Debate Champion (2023) and have published writing, both fiction and non-fiction, in numerous magazines. I have written a book, 'Songs of Speech', and have been interviewed twice about my work. I have worked with magazines and journals to review and edit upcoming mass-market releases also. Alongside my academic studies, I have delivered one-to-one tuition through Edumentors, supporting GCSE and A-Level students in achieving measurable improvements in essay performance and exam outcomes. I specialise in essay-based subjects, particularly A-Level English Literature and Philosophy, and GCSE English at Grade 7–9 level. My focus is on advanced essay construction: developing clear thesis statements, structured argumentation, precise textual analysis, and confident critical engagement. Drawing on my background in competitive debate and academic writing, I teach students how to construct sophisticated, well-supported arguments that meet top-band criteria. Sessions are rigorous, structured, and tailored to individual goals, with detailed written feedback provided to ensure consistent progress. My aim is not simply to improve grades, but to develop intellectual confidence, clarity of thought, and analytical independence. I work best with motivated students seeking to refine their writing, deepen their understanding, and push into the highest performance bands at GCSE and A-Level.

Hi, I’m Qadir! I’m a graduate doctor (MD) and experienced tutor specialising in Mathematics, Biology and Chemistry from KS3 through to A-level. I also hold a BSc in Neuroscience from the University of Exeter and have been professionally tutoring since 2021, delivering over 2,000 online lessons to students with a wide range of abilities and academic goals. Your child’s target becomes our target I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all tutoring. Every student learns differently, so every student I teach gets an approach tailored specifically to them. I take the time to understand your child’s current level, strengths, weaknesses and target grade. From there, I build our lessons around closing the gap between where they are now and where they want to be. Whether that’s moving from a Grade 4 to a 6, pushing from a 6 towards an 8/9, or working towards an A/A* at A-level, their target becomes the focus of our lessons. How will we get there? I break difficult concepts into clear, manageable steps and regularly check understanding before moving forward. If something isn’t clicking, I’ll change the explanation or approach until we find what works for that student. We then use targeted practice and exam-style questions to identify and strengthen weaker areas. For exam students, we focus heavily on exam technique too — understanding what questions are actually asking, applying knowledge to unfamiliar problems and learning how to turn that knowledge into marks. Having delivered 2,000+ lessons, I’ve learnt that knowing a subject isn’t enough to teach it well. A good tutor needs to understand the individual student and be able to adapt until a difficult concept finally clicks. Building confidence — and working towards the future My goal isn’t simply to help your child through their next test. I want them to become a confident, independent learner with the problem-solving and critical-thinking skills they need to succeed without constantly relying on a tutor. I’m also happy to support students with their wider academic and professional goals. Having progressed through neuroscience, university and medical training myself, I understand how today’s grades can influence tomorrow’s A-level choices, university opportunities and future careers. Whether your child needs to catch up, rebuild their confidence, achieve a particular target grade or push towards the very highest grades, I’ll build our approach around what they need to get there. If you’re looking for a tutor who will understand your child as an individual, take their targets seriously and genuinely invest in their progress, I’d be delighted to work with them.

I have been a GCSE English Literature and English Language tutor for over four years. Attending Cambridge University I have always thrived and enjoyed learning, tutoring helps me channel this passion as I teach to help others find pleasure in subjects, I myself, adore. In line with my degree in Human, Social and Political sciences, my teaching methods follow a critical pedagogical approach- this essentially means I aim to teach the critical thinking skills needed for a student to learn and analyse independently- this is a muscle which needs training and cultivating. My tutoring varies from student to student as I am completely against the idea of a 'one approach fits all'. A part of the fun for me is learning about the student themselves, allowing me to tailor each lesson to each individual. I have my own mnemonic techniques to help structure and guide memory and learning, specifically using recall and colour for students who find memory particularly difficult. This approach expands to aid the learning of students with special educational needs including Dyslexia, ADHD, and Autism, which I am personally equipped and experienced to tutor. As long as the student is open to learning, my lessons will be taught according to how you learn: some students are more visual, some need writing practice, some need supervised study, some need structure, ALL need the skills to critically think as this will EXPONENTIALLY benefit your child in other subjects and areas of life. The subjects I specialise in and teach at all levels are: English Literature and Language, Politics, and Sociology. The more time I have to tutor the more I can guarantee results, so I strongly advise double sessions to get the most out of the time spent together. Further on this point, if our sessions begin 1-2 months before exams realistically we will need more than a double session a week. I was able to get a student to a grade 9 in his English Lit exam last year starting only a month before, however we had 6 hours of tutoring a week.

Need a Tutor to Help Your Child Succeed?

A-levels can feel very different from GCSEs. The jump in difficulty often comes from having to apply knowledge in more depth, not just remember it. Many students find that what worked before no longer feels enough, especially as exams get closer.

This is when families begin exploring extra support. Some look for an A-Level Maths tutor or an English tutor A-Level, while others consider more specific options like Physics tuition. For students transitioning from earlier stages, GCSE tutors online can also help reinforce key foundations.

With different subjects and goals involved, it helps to understand what kind of support will make the biggest difference.

A-level tutors usually start from around £30 per hour, depending on the subject and level of support needed. Subjects like physics often vary more due to demand, which is why many students look for A-Level Physics tuition when they need focused help. In most cases, families focus on finding a tutor who can explain topics clearly and support steady progress.
